How we collect and protect your data, the cookies we use, and the terms of booking with Beauty Hour.
This policy explains how Beauty Hour ApS (“Beauty Hour”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data, the cookies our website uses, and the terms that apply when you book an appointment. • Booking details - your name, contact details, and appointment information, provided when you book through our booking system, Planway. • Enquiries - anything you include when you contact us by email or message. • Website usage - if you accept analytics cookies, pseudonymous data about how you use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and any errors the site encounters). Google Analytics and PostHog are not activated before you accept.
• To provide and manage your appointments - necessary to perform our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). • To respond to your enquiries - our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)). • To understand and improve the website through browser analytics - based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. • To meet accounting and other legal obligations - where the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We use a small number of browser technologies: • Essential storage - remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask on every visit. It is always active. • Browser analytics (Google Analytics and PostHog) - help us understand how the site is used and spot errors so we can fix them. Both are activated only after you select “Accept”. You can change your mind at any time through “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page. If you select “Reject”, we disable browser analytics and remove the analytics cookies we can remove. Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to use the site or to book. We do not send booking events from our server to analytics providers.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under a data-processing agreement: • Planway - our online booking system, which handles your appointment booking. • Google - provides browser analytics when you consent. • PostHog - provides browser analytics and error monitoring when you consent. • Our website hosting provider - serves the website to your browser. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Some providers (for example, Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision (e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Our analytics provider PostHog is hosted on its EU Cloud, so that data stays within the EU/EEA.
• Booking and payment records - kept as long as needed to provide the service and to meet Danish bookkeeping requirements (currently five years from the end of the financial year). • Enquiries - deleted when they are no longer needed. • Analytics data - retained for the period set in our analytics configuration, then deleted or anonymised.
Under the GDPR you have the right to: • Access your data • Correct it • Have it erased • Restrict or object to processing • Receive it in a portable format • Withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out) To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@beautyhour.dk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby - www.datatilsynet.dk.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure and to limit access to only those who need it to serve you.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged 50% of the booked service price. • In case of a no-show without prior cancellation, 100% of the booked service price will be charged. • By completing your booking, you agree to the terms above. • Prices are shown in Danish kroner (kr.) and include Danish VAT (moms). They are confirmed when you book. • We aim to run on time; if we ever need to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date are always shown on this page.
